The Story so far…
…Steve's inspirational story came from a life changing two year incarceration in a Dutch jail in Veinhuizen, Holland.

Steve found himself at his lowest point in life. But that was where he was able to reflect and search and re-birth the God given gifts that were with him as a young child. So from behind the bars were born the brilliant earthy demos of his debut album, "All This Love and Hate".

Soon after his release Steve answered a call to move South from his native Merseyside to the Essex town of Southend-on-Sea with fellow/ former inmate and good friend/guitarist, the Aruban Angelo Croes and good friend/guitarist Paul Houghton. That's where he teamed up with the brilliant drummer Michael Bettell . Michael's huge interest in Steve's earthy prison demos forced Michael's best friend and producer Mark Cunningham into swift action. After a few local recordings they went on to produce and complete "All This Love and Hate" at Studio Adelaide in Brentwood with engineer Grant Matthews. After local radio play, they finally made national radio on "The Steve Wright Show" Radio 2 with the song "Always". This song proving the most radio friendly track from that album. Although without record contract their success seemed imminent there was a deathly sting in the tail. Drummer Michael Bettell was soon diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour and died a few months later...

The boots of Michael had been hard to fill and with Steve's dedication to his two new family additions, the ball seemed to have stopped rolling...at least only until now. With the new combination of inspired musicians John Mannion and the young keyboard enigma Taylor Higgs, the lads have been knocking the cobwebs off some of the old songs and bringing in the new @ many acoustic venues across the South East. Steve's huge array of blisteringly passionate lyrics and song writing capabilities are no more emphasized with one of their latest recordings, "Libby's Song". The song expresses the heartfelt passion of coming so close to losing the most precious thing to you, as Steve agonizes at his new baby daughter's bedside after a life saving heart operation. A powerful song with deep lyrics like, "A once faithless heart cries out within...".
